This page will collect groups that are interested in locating, acquiring, and/or developing training for IT pros.
Some of the topics of interest were identified in the spring 2011
The IT Pro Forum’s New Initiatives team will help with the planning and logistics for different groups. The individual training groups are best suited to produce their group’s answers to questions like “what in specific do campus IT pros (including us) want to know about this topic” and “what’s the optimal intersection of ‘level of detail’ and ‘amount of time’ for the audience of this training session.”
The Campus collaboration – training resources section may also provide training resources that you can draw upon for your topic of interest.
If you want to make a group, add a subpage and grab some coworkers and go!
(Tip: Having members of your group subscribe to your group’s page by email may be a helpful way to make sure that group members are notified when new ideas and conversations are happening in your group.)
- Writing Awesome Documentation training group (with a salute to the sticky note writer who described his/her desired training as “how to write awesome documentation”. Yay for great goal-setting!)
