IT Pro Caffeine Break committee and notes collection

About Caffeine Break

The Caffeine Break series was launched as a volunteer-coordinated group in the mid-2000s by Craig Jackson, Irene Sakellarakis, and others from around campus.

It’s a Friday morning get-together where IT Professionals on campus can discuss current IT events and learn about topics of interest.

Since 2016, Caffeine Break has become an informal source of free training and cross-campus information exchange during the gaps between the bi-annual IT Pro Forums.

Most weeks have a scheduled topic with speakers, hosted around campus in classrooms with projectors, sometimes made available online for remote attendance, and sometimes audio and/or video-recorded for future reference

We’re recruiting! If you’d like to join the Caffeine Break committee to identify topics of interest to the IT pro community and arrange for speakers and locations, please contact the current committee members to let us know.
