Digital signage – 3 new signs in Education – nice 65″ signs

• possible issues with streaming – working with 4 Winds

• some new signs in Bevier
• several other places coming soon

• working with units to do software upgrade
• using SCCM to do imaging with Win7
• testing doing updates

• Is it possible to make digital signage accessible?
  • would be limited, probaby very hard to do
  • maybe possible to have some sort of proximity sensor to pass info to a
    • device that has software.
  • any luck with QR codes?

• Digital Signage constituency group within Educause
• many institutions are following our lead

• maintain 19 digital signs, 18 getting ready
• many more that use the server, but maintain their own players

• Digital Signage is going to be talking with CME

• Will also be doing a poster session at ITProForum (double wide)

• Discussion of emergency alerts on the signs
